FOOTBALL – On Saturday and Sunday, it is time for the 35th matchday of the 2011/2012 Serie A season. Juventus are unbeaten in all 38 matches in all competitions this season. Inter are the only club to have recorded such an unbeaten streak in all competitions from the season start: 38 in 2004/05.
Siena – AC Milan
> If Milan win all their remaining four Serie A matches, they will finish the season with 83 points. The last season in which Milan ended with 83+ points is 61 years ago, when they had 86 points in 1950/1951. In 2005/2006 Milan had 88 points, but had a points deduction following a large Italian football scandal.
> Clarence Seedorf can play his 300th Serie A match for Milan. Since his arrival at the club in 2002/2003, no other player has featured so often for Milan in the Serie A.
> Ibrahimovic (13) is only trailing Diego Milito (16) as top scorer in this calendar year.
AS Roma – Napoli
> Francesco Totti has scored 213 Serie A goals and is three goals shy on third place on the all-time Serie A top scorers list. Giuseppe Meazza and José Altafini have 216 Serie A goals.
> Roma have scored in each of their last 18 Serie A home matches for the first time since May 2007-Sep 2008 (23 matches).
> Edinson Cavani has scored 47 Serie A goals since the start of last season. Only Antonio Di Natale has scored more in this time span (48).
Novara – Juventus
> Matri is the current top scorer of Juventus with 10 Serie A goals. The last time the top scorer of the Serie A champions had less than 13 goals is Lazio’s Marcelo Salas with 12 goals in 1999/2000.
> Juve can become the third club to complete a Serie A season without a defeat following Perugia (30 matches in 1978/1979) and AC Milan (34 matches in 1991/1992).
> Novara are unbeaten in their last six home matches in the Serie A. Only Juventus currently have a longer unbeaten home streak in the Serie A (22 matches).
