France

1. Franck Ribéry

Franck Ribéry is a prime example of a player who lets the goalkeeper do all the work. For a gambler, his run-up is tremendously long and will involve two or three stutter-steps. Stay put as long as you can and make one final dive to your right.

2. Hatem Ben Arfa

Left-footed taker who wants to go in his natural direction. Dive to your left.

3. Jérémy Menez

He will knock it towards the bottom left corner (your right) with tremendous pace. Get an early step on him and dive sharply to your right.

4. Karim Benzema

There is no staring contest here. Right-footed player going to his natural side. Hits it with force. Dive sharply to your right, get an early step and hope to hold on.

5. Florent Malouda

Although he never takes penalties in regular time, he has more than enough confidence to step up in a shootout. He will hesitate in his run-up. Don’t flinch. Ultimately dive to your right. He is leaning back slightly when he shoots and has no other way to go than his left.

6. Olivier Giroud

Giroud is one of the best left-footed strikers in Europe and what strikes us is his tremendous confidence. He is capable of sending it to both top corners. Take one step to your right and then dive for the top corner.

7. Samir Nasri

Dive to your right.

8. Yohan Cabaye

Will look for your reaction. Try to force him into the bottom right corner by starting out slightly left of center. His shot will lack tremendous power, which gives you a good chance of a save.
