PREVIEW: Button seeks elusive F1 victory at Monza
Last weekend’s Grand Prix of Belgium winner Jenson Button looks to have hit his form just in time to challenge for the chequered flag this weekend in the Grand Prix of Italy at Monza. It is a race that Button has never won, although he has finished runner-up in each of the previous three seasons.
By doing that, Button has already equalled the Italian GP record for most successive second place finishes (by Emerson Fittipaldi). Only one driver has ever finished second in the same Grand Prix in four successive years, David Coulthard in the GP of Austria between 1997 and 2000.
