FOOTBALL – The following are some key facts and figures on a selected assortment of matches in the Serie A this weekend. The matches we have looked into are Juventus - AS Roma, Sampdoria - Napoli and Internazionale - Fiorentina.
Juventus - AS Roma
> Juventus have not lost their last 44 matches in the Serie A, a club record. Their last defeat was on 15 May 2011 at Parma (1-0).
> Juventus are still unbeaten in all 24 matches in their new stadium. They recorded their biggest win in the Juventus Arena vs AS Roma last season 4-0.
> Francesco Totti celebrated his 36th birthday earlier this week by scoring his 216th Serie A goal in the 1-1 draw vs Sampdoria. Totti joined Jose Altafini and Giuseppe Meazza in third place of the all-time top scoring list. He now only trails Silvio Piola (274) and Gunnar Nordahl (225). Totti has scored all his goals for one club, AS Roma, a record.
Sampdoria - Napoli
> Napoli are three goals short of scoring 100 in all Serie A matches against Sampdoria.
> They have won 19 of the 45 away matches at Samp in the Serie A, losing only nine.
> Napoli can reach 16 points after six matches for the first time since 1987/88. They had 12 (1986/87) points after six matches and 14 (1989/90) in their two scudetto winning seasons.
Internazionale - Fiorentina
> Inter have won 43 of the previous 74 home matches against Fiorentina in the Serie A.
> Inter have lost the first two home matches in the Serie A for the second time in history (1936). They have never lost the first three.
> They have not won any of their five home matches in all competitions this season.
