PREVIEW: MLB Postseason field expanded to 10 teams
BASEBALL - For the first time since 1995, Major League Baseball has expanded its postseason. It goes from eight to 10 teams as both Leagues are now awarded to wildcards instead of one. These wildcards will play each other in a single elimination match on Friday, 5 October. They include defending champions St. Louis Cardinals, who are one of five wildcards to win the World Series.
