REVIEW: Bayern equal Bundesliga record for most successive win from season start

FOOTBALL - Bayern München recorded their seventh straight win of the Bundesliga season on Saturday, to equal the Bundesliga record for most successive wins from season start. In the Top 5 Leagues, the last team that went on to win the championship after winning the first seven matches of a season was Chelsea in the 2005/2006 Premier League.

The Bundesliga record of 7 successive wins was previously set by Bayern (1995/1996), 1. FC Kaiserslautern (2001/2002) and FSV Mainz 05 (2010/2011). Remarkably, Borussia Dortmund won the Bundesliga championships on all three occasions.
