> The only Romania win against Netherlands was the 10th meeting between the two, one that took place in Romania. On October 13, 2007, the result was 1-0 during the European Championship qualification. Romania eventually won that group and Netherlands finished second. Both countries also met in that next European Championship, were Netherlands won 2-0, through goals by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Robin van Persie.
