PREVIEW: Bayern aim to post biggest halfway lead

FOOTBALL - Bayern München’s 2012/2013 Bundesliga campaign reaches the halfway point when they take on Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday. Their current lead over second placed Bayer Leverkusen is 11 points and would equal the biggest German top flight lead at the halfway point set by 1. FC Nürnberg in 1967/1968. 

Should Bayern take more points than Leverkusen on Matchday 17, that record will be broken.
