REVIEW: Man City struggles vs Liverpool continue
FOOTBALL - On Sunday Liverpool drew 2-2 at Manchester City. Manchester City are now unbeaten in their last four PL matches against Liverpool, but have won only two of the last 16.
> Daniel Sturridge scored his third PL goal for Liverpool and his second in Manchester having netted at Old Trafford on Jan 13.
> Sturridge is the first PL away player to score at both the Etihad and Old Trafford in the same PL season since Kenwyne Jones in 2009-10 for Sunderland.
> Sturridge is the third Liverpool player to score away at both Manchester clubs in a single PL season after Ian Rush (1992-93) and Fernando Torres (2008-09).
> Steven Gerrard scored his sixth PL goal of the season – his most in a single PL season since 2009-10 (9 goals).
> Gerrard scored his 157th ever goal for Liverpool in all competitions. He is now one behind Michael Owen (158) who is seventh in their all-time top scorers list.
> At 28 years and 14 days old, Liverpool named their oldest PL starting line-up under manager Brendan Rodgers and oldest since October 2011.
> Edin Dzeko scored his 11th PL goal of the season and fifth in his last six PL appearances.
> Sergio Agüero scored his ninth PL goal of the season, and his 32nd goal in 55 PL appearances.
> Manchester City have scored in each of their last 44 PL home matches, since a 0-0 draw with Birmingham City in November 2010. This is their longest ever run of scoring in consecutive top flight matches.
