PREVIEW: Unofficial World Championship - SWE v ARG

FOOTBALL: The next episode of the Unofficial Football World Championship will take place on Wednesday, 6 February, between Sweden and Argentina. The Unofficial Football World Championship (UFWC) is a championship using a knock-out title system similar to that used in boxing and wrestling.

Winners in an UFWC title game will become titleholders, and will hold this title as long as the win. When they lose, the opponent they lost to will take over the title. The title is currently held by Sweden, having been won against North Korea in the 2013 King’s Cup semifinal on 23 January 2013.

Forty-eight teams have been Unofficial Football World Champions since 1966.
