FORMULA 1 - Fernando Alonso claimed his 31st career Formula 1 Grand Prix win by triumphing in the Chinese Grand Prix. The Spaniard has now scattered race wins across nine different F1 seasons. Only three drivers have won races in more different seasons.
FORMULA 1 - Fernando Alonso is 31 years old today. The current leader in the drivers’ championship of the 2012 Formula 1 season, is one of only five drivers to have won at least 30 career Grands Prix. He is a two-time former world champion (2005, 2006). He won his first drivers’ title at 24, making him the (then) youngest world champion in F1 history.

FORMULA 1 - Fernando Alonso has become the fifth driver to accumulate 30+ career Grand Prix wins in Formula 1, by winning the Grand Prix of Germany at the Hockenheimring on Sunday. This circuit has become the third where the Spaniard has won three races.
FORMULA 1 - Rubens Barrichello is 40 years old today. He is the all-time record holder in Formula 1 for race weekends (326) and race starts (322). He won 11 Grands Prix in motorsports’ feature competition and finished on the podium on 68 occasions. He never won a drivers’ title in F1, but he was runner-up in 2002 and 2004.
