RECORD: Lionel Messi sets record, reaches milestone

FOOTBALL - Lionel Messi’s second goal tonight was his 200th in La Liga. He is the first player to reach this benchmark for FC Barcelona. By scoring tonight, Messi set a new La Liga record for scoring in most successive matches (11), overtaking the mark of 10 by Mariano Martín and Ronaldo, who coincidentally both also recorded their streak on behalf of Barcelona.
