TENNIS - Rafael Nadal rode a wave of incredible determination in Rome, seeing off world number one Novak Djokovic to improve his career record of tournament wins to 49. Key in this victory was Nadal’s ability to save break points. In Rome, he faced 23 break points and managed to save a jaw-dropping 20 (87%), allowing only three breaks of serve in the entire tournament. He took more than half (51%) of his own opportunities to break his opponent’s serve.
