RUGBY UNION - Scotland fly-half Dan Parks has retired from international duty with immediate effect. The Australian-born Parks had recorded 97 points in Six Nations matches, putting him only behind Chris Paterson’s 403, second for Scotland in the Six Nations era (2000-present). He had also provided the six points scored by Scotland against England in their 2012 Six Nations opener (won 13-6 by England). However, a Parks kick was charged down by England’s Charlie Hodgson for the decisive try of the match. Parks had played in 10 of the 11 Six Nations matches under current Scotland coach Andy Robinson.
