BIRTHDAY - 18 May: Yannick Noah (Tennis)

TENNIS - Yannick Noah is 51 years old today. He is best remembered for being the last French and first black man to win the French Open in 1983. No other French player has won at Roland Garros. Every French tennis fan has dreamt about a new champion, but he has yet to emerge. Noah’s life now involves singing, performing, charity work and supporting son Joakim, who is a star player in the NBA.
