FOOTBALL - Theo Walcott’s goal after 20 seconds on Saturday is the fastest of the 2012/2013 Premier League season. His goal (20 secs) was also Arsenal’s fastest in the Premier League era, beating Robin van Persie’s strike after 29 seconds on 16 October 2011.
FOOTBALL - Wolverhampton Wanderers were relegated from the Championship, the second tier of English league football, one season after dropping from the top flight. In the Premier League era (1992-present), they join 1994-1995 Swindon Town as the only sides to have suffered successive relegations.
