REVIEW: Suarez is unstoppable

FOOTBALL – Luis Suarez is setting new scoring boundaries in the PL this season, netting 19 times after 17 matches. Here’s more on his amazing scoring run.

> Suarez is the first player to score 19 goals after 17 PL matches in the PL era.

> He became the first player to score at least two goals in four consecutive PL matches.

> He has scored 10 goals in December 2013, a new record for most goals in a single month (previously Mark Viduka 8 in April 2003).

> Suarez has scored 29 goals in 2013, of which 20 came at Anfield. No other player has more in home AND away (before today’s 16.00 BST kick off).

> Suarez averages a goal every 56.7 minute in the PL this season, 20 minutes less than Ronaldo needs in La Liga this season (77 minutes).

> When Messi scored his 50 goals in a Liga season (2011/12), his average was a goal / 65 minutes.

> Suarez also has six assists this season, already one more than he had last season.
